Dance

PINA - Dance, dance, otherwise we are lost

"The exhilarating and inimitable art of the great choreographer, Pina Bausch."
This film gets a US release December 23rd from IFC Films. Look for it!

"The freeing up of the body into spaces that defy our usual vocabularies and create new grammars might at the very least, be a way of literally moving one’s life into a space of less fear and more freedom, always, and unavoidably, with each other." Full review at www.criticallegalthinking.com

Vysehrad Slavin Spirit

An unbelievable figure that took my breath away in a Prague cemetery.
Old cemeteries are fascinating.. I can't remember whose grave this was, anyone know? BW?

Yoga is art.

I'm very much a beginner..
but I may have just passed up the grannies and the pregnant chicks!
My fave yoga instructor, Amelia, always has wonderful ideas for us to ponder.
This week, she said she read that art's purpose is to remind us we are not alone..
(a good thought to ruminate on) and that yoga, as an art form, does this by
unifying us in improving our physical and mental awareness.

And now for something completely different.. and AWESOME

The kids are fantastic! Levi, bless his uncoordinated soul, is going to Krumpin Freestyle lessons—even if I have to drive him to The Great House of Dance!
